August 7-18: Opera Artist Institute in session. Studying under master performers, this program hones the performance skills for aspiring professional opera singers. A scholarship fund has been established to assist promising students. Donations to the ECO scholarship fund are always appreciated.
August 10: Arias concert performed by the Opera Artist Institute.
August 13: Free public concert. 12 Noon at the Botanic Park
August TBD: OAI Scenes Concert.
August 15, 16 or 17 (TBD): ECO Concert at the Strings Music Pavilion. Performances by Singers from the NY Metropolitan Opera and other leading companies, along with the OAI singers accompanied by the Emerald City Opera Orchestra.

Polo matches around the world are held to entertain and benefit arts and culture organizations in a glamorous and fun filled-setting. With that in mind, the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra, the Steamboat Springs Arts Council and Emerald City Opera will host our highly anticipated Winter Soiree - with the style and pageantry of a polo classic!
In addition to an artfully created fully-catered dinner by Bistro CV, guests should look forward to Cocktails, Champagne bar, the chance to play pony-less polo, unique auction items and delightful musical performances. All included.
A VIP ticket includes special perks and a seat at the players table with our host Ernest Richardson.
